What:  Simulation Modeling Technician Certificate Program

 

The SMT will develop technical skills necessary to produce three dimensional content for an endless array of training opportunities and uses for business, industry, education, state and federal governments as well as the military. 

The software that will be taught in this program is Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Java Script, AutoCAD and Unity gaming software. 

 

Requirements: Students must have proficiency in computer applications to successfully complete the course.

 

When: (January 9 – May 1, 2012) Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:00PM-10:00PM (240 clock hours)

 

Where:  Workforce Development Building (WD 120) 

 

Length of Program:  16 weeks, 240 continuing workforce education hours (non transferable).  The student MUST enroll for the entire program at the beginning of the class schedule. 

 

Cost: $1,500

*Due to the length and the nature of the program, SMT is ineligible for Chipola College financial aid.

 Application Process:  Student must complete the Continuing Education Application and pay their fees by Monday, January 9th.  The class is on a first come first serve basis and is limited to the first 12 students who complete the application process.
