All classes offered must be prepaid in order to complete your registration.  You can pay for your classes in any of four ways.  You can pay in person by stopping in the Extended Learning and Professional Development Center during regular hours 8:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday; mail in to Extended Learning/Continuing Education, Chipola College, 3094 Indian Circle, Marianna, FL  32446; phone in to (850) 718-2260.  The class count is based on registered students.  If you have not paid for the class, you are not registered.                                                            

The Pygmalion Effect - Managing the Power of Expectations

It's a fact:  Limited expectations bring limited results, high expectations lead to exceptional results.  This phenomenon is known as the Pygmalion Effect and has been documented numerous times in both business and education.   The Pygmalion Effect training program clearly illustrates that the way we view subordinates can completely change the outcome of any given project.  Managers will learn to:

This program was written based on the new book by Ken Blanchard,   In Whale Done! Ken Blanchard shows how to make accentuating the positive and redirecting the negative are the best tools to increase productivity and improve organizational performance.

The Attitude Virus:  Curing Negativity in the Workplace

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the common attitude virus carriers and teaches how to:

Eat that Frog! - Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time

This program was written based on Brian Tracey's new book Eat That Frog.  Brian uses the analogy that if the first thing you had to do everyday was to eat a frog, the rest of your day couldn't get any worse.  This program will review strategies for eating frogs and 21 other tips that help you to stop procrastinating and get more done in less time.
