FACC Scholarship Award And Maintenance Criteria

The Chipola College Chapter will offer, annually, scholarships to  qualified students.  The amount of the yearly scholarship will be equal to the total amount of available funds divided by the number of qualified, full time applicants.  The yearly scholarship per student will not exceed $2000.00 for full-time students.  If funds are then available, yearly scholarships will be made available to Chapter Members who are part-time students.  The amount of the yearly scholarship will be determined by the amount of available money remaining after the awarding of the full-time scholarships, divided by the number of qualified, part-time applicants.  Awards are not to exceed $700 per year.  Part-time student awards will be made in priority order: (a) $200 maximum for books and fees for Chapter Members taking a course under Chipola's fee waiver policy, (b)  $300 maximum for Chapter Members taking a course not covered by fee waiver, and (c) $200 maximum for books and fees for a course not covered by the fee waiver.  Each years award will be for tuition, books, and fees.  Students may be enrolled in any accredited program at Chipola Junior College.
