MARIANNA— **The Chipola College Indians (11-3) **host Taylor-Made Academy in a pre-conference warm-up Thursday, Jan. 4, at 7 p.m., in the Johnson Center.

**The Chipola Indians (11-3) **are seventh in the FCSAA State Poll.

Both Chipola teams open Conference play, Jan. 9, at Tallahassee, before returning home to host Northwest, Saturday, Jan. 13.

Chipola scored an 85-78 win over Coastal Alabama on Dec. 30. Brandon Mahan led the Indians with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Yuat Alok scored 19 points with 12 rebounds. Shamarkus Kennedy had 17 points and 12 rebounds. TJ Howard added 12 points.

The Indians scored a 92-78 win over East Georgia State on Dec. 29. Kennedy led Chipola with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Howard scored 19 points. Mahan had 17 points. Alok scored 11 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.

Chipola split a pair of games at the Florida Shootout in Gainesville. The Indians beat Palm Beach 107-81 on Dec.9. Brandon Mahan led Chipola with 24 points. TJ Howard had 18. Shamarkus Kennedy, Yuat Alok and JJ Miles scored 15 apiece.

**The Lady Indians **(11-4) lost to Humber College, 70-65, on Dec. 30. Naomi House led Chipola with 16 points. Valerie Nesbitt scored 10 points. Courtajia Sanders scored 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Chipola scored an 85-80 win over Miami-Dade on Dec. 29. Nesbitt led Chipola with 20 points.Sanders had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Namiko Adams scored 13 points. Kiana Coomber had 11 points.

The Lady Indians scored a big 96-48 win over Arkansas Baptist on Dec. 13. Sanders led Chipola with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Nesbitt had 18 points. Adams had 13 points and 6 rebounds. Tyra Johnson scored 10 points.

Chipola’s women are ranked fifth in the FCSAA State Poll and 16th in the NJCAA National Poll.
