Chipola College now offers a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Business Management with three majors: Supervision and Management, General Management, and Accounting. Chipola is now accepting applications for Summer 2009 admission to the program. Students must have an AA, AS, or AAS degree for admission.
The BAS degree in Business Management program provides students with the opportunity to further their education and advance in their careers. The skills and expertise attained in their associate programs provided the foundation to begin their careers in their chosen fields. Earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Management will expand their understanding in management practices and prepare them for a broad range of business opportunities.
The upper-division emphasis provides students with a comprehensive and
practical understanding of business management. The course of study begins
with a practitioner focus and progresses to a thorough coverage of all
aspects of business management. The BAS degree provides a theoretical
foundation in management. This theoretical foundation is balanced with
practical, applied methodology which prepares individuals to meet the
demands of business and industry in Chipola’s growing district.
