Lucas powers Chipola past Lake City, 8-2

Jordan Lucas hit two homeruns to power Chipola past Lake City, 8-2, Wednesday afternoon in Lake City. Lucas collected 6 RBI's on the day which included a grand slam homerun in the first inning to put the Indians ahead for good. The Indians were led at the plate by Carlos Moncrief (3-4, 3 runs, 1 RBI), Lucas (3-5, 2 runs, 2 HR's, and 6 RBI's), Adam Duvall (3-5), and Edmond Sparks (2-4, 1 RBI).
Seven Chipola pitchers combined to hold the Timberwolves to two runs and seven hits. Indian starting pitcher Daniel Jones got the win on the mound. His first of the season.
