Chipola out slugged Meridian to sweep a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon in Marianna.  Chipola was lead in the first game by Moises Montero (2-4, HR, 4 RBI's), and Chris Berroa (3-4, 2 runs scored).  Edmond Sparks also had a two-out double to plated three Chipola runs.  Chipola starting pitcher Drew Parker collected his third win of the season.  Parker threw seven innings, giving up two earned runs on eleven hits and striking out seven.

In the second game,  Chipola scored three runs in the sixth inning to pull away from Meridian and win the game, 7-3.  The Indians were led offensively by Berroa (2-4, 2 RBI's), Montero (2-4, RBI), and Marc Bourgeois (2-3, RBI).  Starting pitcher Matt Jackson picked up his fifth win of the season, throwing 5.1 innings, only giving up six hits.  David Buchanan collected his second save of the season.
