Nick Fletcher is in his
third season as
assistant coach at Chipola College. Fletcher
works with the Indian’s outfielders and also
assists with hitting. Coach Fletcher is also
in charge of field maintenance and facility
upkeep at Chipola Baseball Field. Coach
Fletcher assists in recruiting and helps
coordinate the academic progress for the
Indians. Fletcher directs the strength
workouts for the Indians and he is also a
resident assistant in the athletic
dormitory. Fletcher spent the 2005 season as
the assistant coach at Harding University, a NCAA Division II college which competes in
the Gulf South Conference. Coach Fletcher
was the pitching and infield coach while at
Harding. From 2002 – 2004 Fletcher coached
at his alma mater Faulkner University.
During the ’03-’04 season he was the junior
varsity Head Coach, and in the ’02-’03
campaign he was a graduate assistant coach
at Faulkner.
Coach Fletcher played at Faulkner University
from 1999 – 2002. During that time he made
the National Christian College Athletic
Association (NCCAA) World Series
All-Tournament Team in 2002. Fletcher was a
NCCAA All-Region Team member in 2001.
Fletcher was also a Georgia-Alabama-Carolina
Conference (GACC) All-Freshman Team member
in 1999. During Fletcher’s years at Faulkner
he was a part of the 2001 NCCAA national
championship team, and the 2000 GACC
championship team.
Coach Fletcher is the son of Tom and Jane
Fletcher from Montgomery, AL
