Coach Jared Harrell is currently entering his third year as an
assistant coach under Head Baseball Coach Jeff Johnson at Chipola
College. Harrell works with the catchers, assists with
pitching, recruiting, and helps maintain the facility here at
Chipola.
Coach Harrell worked with 3 catchers that are currently playing at
the next level in baseball: Trey Manz (University of South Florida), Chris Kirkland (University of Memphis)
and Tyler Flowers (Atlanta Braves)).
Before arriving at Chipola, Harrell was a student assistant coach at
the University of Louisiana-Monroe from 2003-2005. He was in
charge of catchers and assisting with hitting at ULM. While at
ULM, Harrell received a BA degree in General Studies.
Coach Harrell played college baseball at North Arkansas from
1998-2001.
