Senior Mario Boggan (Oklahoma State) and freshman
D.J. Augustin (Texas) have been selected as Phillips
66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the
Week, respectively, for games of Jan. 15-21 in
voting by a panel of media covering the conference.
Boggan earns his third player honor of the season,
while Augustin captures accolades for the second
time in 2006-07.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mario Boggan, Oklahoma State, F, Sr., 6-7,

Boggan averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds against
two top 25 squads last week as the Cowboys posted a
1-1 record. The senior forward had career-highs in
points (37) and rebounds (20) in OSU's 105-103
triple-overtime victory over No. 21 Texas. He was
the first player in Big 12 history to have 30 points
and 20 rebounds in the same game. He followed with
11 points and eight boards as the Cowboys' dropped a
67-49 decision at No. 8 Texas A&M. For the week, he
also had five blocks, four assists and two steals,
while shooting 84.2 percent (16-of-19) from the free
throw line.
