Clevin Hannah was named the State
Farm Missouri Valley Conference
Newcomer of the Week for his
breakout
performance the week of Nov. 24-30.
Hannah, a transfer from
Chipola College, averaged 12.0
points in 42.9 percent shooting in
WSU’s four games last week, but
scored 19 points in WSU’s win
against Siena and 19 points against
No. 5 Michigan State to lead the
Shockers in the Old Spice Classic.
In the tournament, he also hit
10-of-11 free throws, and averaged
4.25 assists for the week. The
Shockers only losses last week were
eight-point defeats to No. 16
Georgetown, 58-50, and to No. 5
Michigan State, 65-57.
