Chipola College has a
strong winning tradition at the conference, regional and national
level. This type of tradition does not come without effort and
dedication. The college is dedicated to its student-athletes’
success on the playing court and field. The college is equally
dedicated to its student-athletes’ success in the classroom and life.
As a student-athlete at Chipola College, you are expected to dedicate
yourself to your education and your sport.
As a student-athlete
at Chipola College you will be a part of a program that believes in
winning. That belief starts at the top with the president and
makes its way through the organizational chart to the lowest level.
The winning starts in the classroom as our student-athletes make their
way, with graduation, to the next level. If the winning does not
take place in the classroom, it cannot happen on the playing field or
court.
Our coaching staff
will provide you with some of the best coaching available in the NJCAA.
Chipola’s Academic Coaches, along with dedicated faculty, advisors,
counselors and fans, will give you the support you need to be
successful. These assets, along with your total effort, will
give you every possible chance to reach your fullest potential as a
student-athlete. Chipola has one of the highest transfer rates
to Division I schools in the nation.
I invite you to visit
our complete athletic website and our campus. We are extremely
proud of our campus and our facilities. Our athletic facilities
rank with the best in the nation. The NJCAA Region VIII, and
Florida State Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament is held in our
gym annually. Our newest athletic facility is our Baseball and
Softball Complex featuring chair back seats in the stadium and an
indoor batting and pitching facility for baseball and softball.
In 2007 Chipola
College became the first and only Florida College to win State and
Regional Championships in all four sports in the same year.
In
addition, our Baseball and Softball programs both won National
Championships while our Men’s Basketball program was runner-up at
their National Tournament and the Women’s Basketball program placed
fifth in their National Tournament.
Chipola College is
the right place for you as a student-athlete. You will look
great in the blue and gold of the Chipola Indians!
