Chipola Theatre
By Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard
What do Arles Struvie, Thurston Wheelis, Aunt Pearl,
Petey Fisk, Phineas Blye and Rev. Spikes have in common? They are
among the upstanding citizens of Tuna — Texas’ third smallest town —
in this hilarious send-up of small-town mores. In this Off-Broadway
hit actors create the entire population of Tuna in a tour de
farce of quick-change artistry, both of costumes and of comic
characterizations.

How to Succeed in Business
Without Really Trying
March 12-16,
2008
7:30p.m. Wed.-Sat. 2p.m. Sunday
Chipola Theatre
Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser
Book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock
and Willie Gilbert
Based on the novel by Shepherd Mead
From the authors of “Guys and Dolls” comes one of
the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time. A satire of
big business and all it holds sacred, this Pulitzer Prize winning
play follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little
handbook called “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”
to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to
high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as
the aggressively compliant “company man”, the boss’ whiny,
nepotistic nephew, the office party, backstabbing co-workers,
caffeine addiction and, of course, true love.
