Tickets are now on sale for
Chipola College Theater’s fall comedy,
“Dearly Departed,” which plays Nov. 4-7 in the
Chipola Theater. Show time is 7 p.m. nightly
with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee. Tickets are
available in the college Business Office during
regular business hours. Tickets also will be
available at the Theater Box Office 30 minutes
before each show. Not since “Steel
Magnolias,” has a more dysfunctional group of
Southern eccentrics gathered below the
Mason-Dixon. When the patriarch of the family
keels over dead, the struggle to get him
buried involves the whole clan, including the
not-so-grieving widow who wants to put “Mean
and Surly” on the tombstone. The play
contains some adult humor.
