Our Firefighter II program has specialized training. We offer a “RIDE ALONG PROGRAM” that allows students to spend time at two of our local fire departments. Students are allowed to actively participate in day to day workings of a fire department which includes responding to fires, accidents, EMS calls, etc.
IMPORTANT NOTE: AT NO TIME ARE STUDENTS ALLOWED TO ENTER THE HOT ZONE AT AN INCIDENT.
We also offer a BASIC EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS class that will teach the students how to prepare for interviews and to write resumes. This will help students be better prepared to enter the work place.
