Helping, Healing, & Providing Hope!

Welcome to Health Sciences

Spring Nursing Class of 2018

Spring 2018 Nursing Graduates

Welcome from the Dean of the School of Health Sciences!

Chipola offers five different programs of study as career pathways into the healthcare field. Chipola is prepared to help students meet their educational goals and pursue their passion in healthcare through these programs.

The Emergency Medical Services provides you with two programs: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic. These programs prepare you for a career in emergency services as a paramedic or EMT.

The nursing assistant program prepares you to take the certification exam qualifying you to obtain a job as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). The two-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program provides you the education and training to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) exam. After passing the NCLEX-RN exam you can receive your RN license from the State of Florida. Your RN license along with your degree provides entry into nursing practice.

Furthering your nursing career requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). We provide that opportunity to further your career by offering the RN to BSN program. Requirements for acceptance into the RN to BSN program include, but not limited to, RN license, graduate of an accredited associate degree in nursing program, and meeting all entry requirements.

As the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, I encourage everyone to visit all the pages on this web site and to explore the various career options.  Please feel free to contact me at or my Staff Assistant at 850-718-2278.
