Dr. Odutola will be speaking on the Florida Code of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct for teachers which can be previewed at http://www.fldoe.org/edstandards/code_of_ethics.asp
The information he will share prepares you for the Ethics questions on the teacher certification exam, as well as for the three Ethics related tasks: 6.1.2, 6.2.2, and 6.3.1.

For homework NEXT WEEK - AFTER HIS PRESENTATION - you should begin working on Task 6.1.2, and should read Task 6.2.2 and 6.3.1. Some resources you might find helpful (in addition to the class materials) can be found at:
http://www.fldoe.org/dpe/publications.asp
http://www.fec.tv/details.asp?ID=1753 and

You should read the scenarios and make suggestions on teacher reactions, but we will work on this more in class the week after the presentation (November 15th) in class. Be sure to bring your materials from the workshop and the task to class with you on the 15th. All three ethics tasks will be due to the digital drop box no later than 8 am on November 20th.
