Law Enforcement

Curriculum Maintenance System (CMS)


The Law Enforcement program prepares students as entry level law enforcement officers such as Police Officer and Deputy Sheriff. Practical skills and field exercise are an integral part of this program. To acquire a certificate, candidates must successfully complete all of the courses listed and pass a state examination. All of the courses have additional special lab fees.

The next Night Basic Law Enforcement CMS Academy will begin January 31, 2008. Class sessions will be held from 5:30 - 9:30 pm. A Crossover Basic Law Enforcement CMS Academy will begin January 31, 2008 with class sessions meeting from 5:30 - 9:30 pm.

Students must complete all the course work listed below in the required time frame and pass and F.D.L.E. examination in order to seek employment as a Law Enforcement Officer. A $100 Assessment Center fee will be charged to all students.
