According to current CLAST exemption rules, some students may be exempt from taking the CLAST as part of the Associate of Arts degree requirements. However, if you plan to enter the College of Education and teach in the State of Florida, there is no exemption allowed. All teacher candidates must take the CLAST.

  

 Contact the Testing Center to find out if you are eligible for CLAST exemption. Please note that you are not exempt from the CLAST until the necessary document(s) are completed and signed!
