Welcome to the The Chipola College 
Testing Center web-site.

The Testing Center is located in the Success Center, Building A.  The Testing Center coordinates all entry level tests such as the ACT, CPT, TABE, HESI, College Level Examination Program (CLEP), and Distance Learning Exams. The Testing Center also provides make-up testing, on an appointment only basis, for students who miss regularly scheduled classroom tests. 

To take tests, students must present a current ID which must bear a current photo.  The ACT  has a registration deadline; please double check these dates.  If you need assistance with any testing question please contact the Chipola College Testing Center (Bldg. A)  or the Dean of Enrollment Services, Dr. Jayne Roberts, or Lisa Shores (Bldg. A Room 142).

General Information

  1. Students must bring photo identification and pencils on the test date. Scratch paper will be furnished.
  2. Most testing will be held in the Testing Center, Building A.
  3. CPT, and CLEP exams are offered Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The.HESI Admission Assessment™ (AČ) is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:00 a. m. and 12:00 p.m.  The CPT is also offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:00 p.m. There is no evening testing during the summer sessions.  No pre-registration is required and you will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.  You must show a photo ID and pay the fee at the Testing Center, Building A when you arrive to take the test. The HESI and CLEP will NOT be offered during college registration dates which are listed on the Chipola College calendar.
  4. The TABE is offered Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:00 p.m. No pre-registration is required and you will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.  You must show a photo ID at the Testing Center, Building A when you arrive to take the test.  There is no fee for the TABE.
  5. ACT packets may be obtained at the Testing Center or from the Dean of Enrollment Services.
  6. CLAST registration and exemption information may be obtained from the  Dean of Enrollment Services, Bldg. A, Room 142.

Test fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
