MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The instructor will be expected to teach a variety of courses ranging from General Chemistry I and II with labs, Organic Chemistry I and II with labs, and Bio-Chemistry. Duties associated with college instruction and the institutional mission of the College will also be a part of the instructor's role.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry or an applied chemical subfield; or a Master's degree with a major in Chemistry or an applied chemical subfield required; Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred. Degree and coursework must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

- COMMUNICATION: ability to communicate effectively with students, college staff and the public.
- TASK MANAGEMENT: ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- FLEXIBILITY: ability to work a flexible work schedule which may include evenings and weekends.
- SOCIAL INTERACTION: must have social skills necessary to maintain effective and professional interpersonal relationship with a diverse population.
- TEACHING ABILITY: Must have a proven ability to impart subject content and perform other duties associated with effective teaching.
