POSITION TITLE:	Chemistry Instructor
DEPARTMENT:	Mathematics, Natural Science & Education
SALARY RANGE:	Commensurate with degree and experience
APPLICATION DEADLINE:	Open Until Filled

To be considered an applicant, a letter of application and resume must be received by Human Resources and bear a postmark on or before the application deadline.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The instructor will be expected to teach a variety of courses ranging from General Chemistry I and II with labs, Organic Chemistry I and II with labs, and Bio-Chemistry.  Duties associated with college instruction and the institutional mission of the College will also be a part of the instructor's role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry or an applied chemical subfield; or a Master's degree with a major in Chemistry or an applied chemical subfield required; Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred.  Degree and coursework must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

• TEACHING ABILITY: Must have a proven ability to impart subject content and perform other duties associated with effective teaching.
