Panama City FL – (May 17 2007) –   Dr. Carol A. Lewis, Ph.D. Counseling and Psychology Assistant Professor with Troy University will be the quest speaker at a Seminar sponsored by Goodwill Industries to be held in Marianna, Florida at Chipola College.  The topic will be “Tips for Parents: Managing Your Child’s Academic Performance, Social Behavior, and Physical Development While Keeping your Sanity”.

The presentation is directed primarily at parents who are constantly juggling careers while parenting.  How do you deal with being patient, alert, and psychologically present 24/7?  The format will be a very brief child/adolescent development discussion with an interactive question/answer session following.

Goodwill Industries sponsors seminars throughout our area on topics of interest to the local community. The seminars are free of charge, paid for by Marianna’s support of Goodwill through donations and shopping in our retail stores.
