Admission and Registration
|
On Chipola's Campus | It is imperative that those who want to enroll in a degree program through the University Center obtain expert academic advising before proceeding. After reviewing the Universities & Degrees page and deciding upon a program to pursue, contact the appropriate University Program Coordinator and University Center personnel will serve as your academic advisors for your upper-level degree. Students who are interested in pursuing a degree in math or science education from Chipola College should contact Dr. Lou Cleveland at clevelandl@chipola.edu or (850) 718-2409. To enroll in any University Center or Chipola College Bachelor degree program, you must meet the admission requirements and be admitted to the university or college that offers the degree in which you are interested. You do not apply to the University Center, but to the university or college from which you wish to receive your degree. Since each institution has different admission and registration requirements and deadlines, you should contact the University Program Coordinator for your degree of interest or the Chipola Enrollment Services Department. University or college personnel will provide you with the application and registration information. Personnel from Chipola’s Office of the Registrar will send transcripts to the university of your choice. You may personally pick up the transcript or send a signed letter containing your address, Social Security number, approximate dates of attendance, and the name of the institution to which the transcript should be sent. Mail the letter to: Office of the Registrar Students interested in financial aid should contact the office of Financial Aid at the university from which they will receive their degree. To be considered for any type of financial aid or federal student loans, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed and submitted. The FAFSA form can be filled out online or a paper copy can be obtained from Chipola's Financial Aid Office in Chipola's Administration Building. Federal financial aid eligibility will be determined based upon the information submitted on this form. Students who are admitted to Chipola College's math or science education degrees may apply for free tuition from the Chipola Foundation Beall Endowment fund. (Submission of a FAFSA application is required prior to applying for Beall funds.) Contact information for the Offices of Financial Aid of the University Center's partnering institutions and the "University Codes" or "School Code" are contained in the table below.
