Chipola College Athletics Has Four Sports In Full Swing This Month

Chipola College athletics has four sports in full swing this month.

The #9 Lady Indians are 20-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play. On Saturday, they fell short to #4 Gulf Coast State. They’ll travel to Pensacola tonight to take on the Lady Pirates. They’ll be back at home next Wednesday (Feb. 13) vs. #11 Tallahassee.

Dekeriya Patterson named NJCAA Region 8 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week:

Men’s Basketball:** The #11 Indians are 22-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play. They recorded a win over Gulf Coast State on Saturday and are back in action tonight in Pensacola. Their next home game is next Wednesday (Feb. 13) as they host #18 Tallahassee.

Softball:** The preseason #2 Lady Indians are 6-0 on the season, including a win over #1 Temple. They’ll be in action on Thursday at home for a doubleheader vs. Salt Lake CC starting at 2PM. This weekend, they’ll be in Dothan for the Visit Dothan Invitational. The Chipola softball schedule is available at:

Eila Infante was named NJCAA and Region 8 Softball Player of the Week:

Baseball:** The preseason #1 Indians hosted their annual Alumni Weekend and had a great turnout from former players. They’re 2-3 on the year and are back in action at home this weekend with games on Friday(2PM vs. Chattahoochee Valley) and Saturday (DH vs. Bishop State at 1PM)
