Backpack for Kids

TRiO Society members and Chipola staff contributed to Backpack for Kids of Jackson County’s food drive. Non-perishable food items such as large/regular size boxes of cereal, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce and pasta were donated.  The items donated will be used to feed youth during the Thanksgiving break.

Backpack for Kids of Jackson County is a 501-3C non-profit organization ran exclusively by volunteers. 100% of ALL contributions go directly to feeding the needy, displaced and homeless children in our county. TRiO Society sponsors are Kristie Mosley, Ashley Harvey and Sarieta Bryant.
