Century Fire Protection Visits Chipola Plumbing Class

Representatives from Century Fire Protection, LLC visited the Chipola College Plumbing class last Thursday (11/13) to talk about career paths in the industry.

Kenny Hamm, CFP Licensed Consultant, and Joe Wright, Division Manager, explained that plumbing students can work in many areas, including fire protection systems. They shared information about consultation, design, fabrication, installation, inspections, testing, maintenance, asset management, and community fire safety.

 “This type of visit helps students understand the wide range of options in skilled trades,” said Joli Hartzog. “It also supports our workforce programs and the training we provide.”

Spring Registration is open now. Scholarships are available for Plumbing, Welding, and Construction Workforce Programs.
