Chipola Baseball Advances to State Tournament in Tampa

The Chipola College baseball team is headed to the FCSAA Division I Baseball Championships in Tampa after winning the Marianna Regional.

Chipola earned its spot in the four-team state tournament with a 9-2 win over Daytona State College on May 2.

The Indians will play Northwest Florida State College at 5 p.m. EST on Friday, May 8. The tournament runs May 8–11.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to keep playing and compete at the next level,” said head coach Jeff Johnson.
