Chipola Baseball Finishes Season as FCSAA State Runner-Up

Chipola College Baseball finished the 2026 season as the FCSAA Division I Baseball State Runner-Up following a 5-1 loss to Miami Dade in the state championship game.

Chipola concluded the season with a 45-13 overall record. The team advanced to the state championship game after a season that included multiple comeback wins and walk-off victories.

Chipola recorded two hits with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning in the championship game.

“I’m proud of the way our team competed throughout the season,” said Chipola baseball coach Jeff Johnson. “This group showed resilience all year and accomplished a great deal both on and off the field.”
