Chipola Baseball To Host Northwest Florida

The Chipola Indians baseball team is 29-10-1 and 8-4 in league play as of April 7.

The Indians hosted a doubleheader on Saturday, April 2 where they scored a 5-4 and 8-6 win over Gulf Coast State.

On March 29, Chipola traveled to Gulf Coast’s home field, where they won the first game (6-2) but lost the second (10-0). The Indians split a double header with Coastal Alabama-South on March 24, with Coastal Alabama winning the first game (11-6) and Chipola winning the second (6-5).  

The Indians will host Northwest Florida on Thursday, April 7 at 5 p.m. and Friday, April 8 at 2 p.m. Chipola will then travel to Northwest to play in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 9 starting at 1 p.m.

The Chipola Indians are ranked fifth in the NJCAA national tournament and No. 1 in the FCSAA state polls.
