Chipola Brain Bowl Team Finishes Second at Vanderbilt Tournament

The Chipola College Brain Bowl team earned a second-place finish at the Planetfall Tournament held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, Oct. 3-4.

Team members Jeremy Scurlock, Rhett Bethea, Trent Watson and Landen Bernier finished the tournament with an impressive 8-2 record, falling only to first-place Auburn University and tournament host Vanderbilt University.

Scurlock also earned top individual honors as the tournament's overall highest scorer.
The team will travel to Auburn University Oct. 17-18 to compete in the ACF Fall Tournament, where they will look to defend their championship title earned last year at Georgia Tech.

The Chipola Brain Bowl team continues to demonstrate academic excellence and competitive success at the collegiate level.
