Chipola College 2026 Employees of The Year
Chipola College recently announced Brent Shelton as Faculty/Administrator/Other Professional of the Year and Shawn Keihn as Career Employee of the Year for 2026 at the end of year luncheon on May 6th.
Brent Shelton was recognized as the Faculty/Administrator/Other Professional of the Year. Brent serves as the Director of Assessment in the Compliance and Grants department and has worked at the college since 2023.
Shawn Keihn was chosen as Career Employee of the Year. Shawn servers as a Division Associate in the Instructional Affairs department and has worked at the college since 2008.
The Employee of the Year award recognizes the exceptional work of Chipola's employees. Candidates are nominated by fellow employees for exhibiting courtesy, motivation and professionalism. Annual winners receive a $1,000 bonus, reserved parking for a year, a one-year membership in AFC, and a $100 gift certificate from the college Book Store.
