Chipola College Announces their 4th Annual Chipola 5K Challenge

Chipola College invites runners, walkers, families, and community members to join us for the 4th Annual Chipola 5K Run/Walk on February 7, 2026, returning bigger than ever.

This year’s event proudly ties into America’s 250th Birthday celebration, making the 5K part of a national milestone honoring the spirit of community, fitness, and the American story. Participants are encouraged to show their patriotic pride—red, white, and blue spirit wear is welcome!

“We are thrilled to offer this event again and look forward to bringing the community together,” said Allyson Howell, Chipola’s Director of ACE & Race Coordinator . “Whether you’re a competitive runner, a casual walker, or someone who simply wants to support the cause and enjoy the day, we hope everyone will participate.”

The Chipola 5K welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels. The course winds through the beautiful Chipola College campus, with volunteers cheering racers along the way.  Medals will be given for Overall Male and Female, Overall Chipola Student, and Overall Chipola Employee (1st place for each Age Group) at the conclusion of the race.
