New Anthology Marquee Moments Collects Stories from Theatre Lovers On amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com June 1
Angela Allen Dickson, director of theatre/theatre director at Chipola College, an author included in Marquee Moments: Essays by Theatre Lovers, was a featured vocalist at the books launch at the TADA! Theatre in New York City on May 30. Allen Dickson performed for an audience of authors and guests gathered at a preview gala event to celebrate the release of the book.
Marquee Moments: Essays by Theatre Lovers, a new anthology collecting more than 80 stories from the stage, will be released June 1, 2026, on amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com sites and your favorite book retailer by order. The collection captures the best stories from actors, theatregoers, directors, and staff spanning both amateur and professional theatre.
Essays by 40 authors are divided into five segments: From the Start, From the Seat, From the Stage, From the Staff, and From the Rest. The anthology features varied, accessible stories, including memories of directing children’s shows, a Les Misèrables tour stop in San Francisco during the 1989 earthquake, a front-of-house confrontation, and a personal history told through viewings of A Little Night Music.
