Chipola College Paramedic Students Gain Real-World Experience Through Emergency Simulations

Chipola College Paramedic students are gaining valuable hands-on experience through realistic emergency simulations that prepare them for the fast-paced demands of emergency medical services.
Designed to complement classroom instruction, the high-impact simulations place students in realistic, high-pressure scenarios where they work alongside local first responders. The training helps students develop the confidence, critical thinking skills and teamwork essential for responding to medical emergencies when lives are on the line.
"Hands-on training is a critical component of preparing future paramedics," said Tina Maloy, program director for Chipola's EMT and Paramedic programs. "These realistic simulations give students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom while working in situations that closely reflect the challenges they will face in the field."
Chipola's EMT and Paramedic programs combine classroom instruction with practical, real-world training to prepare graduates for careers in emergency medical services.
