Chipola College Welcomes Students for Dual Enrollment Summer Academy

Chipola College welcomed area high school students to campus on June 1 as the 2026 Dual Enrollment Summer Academy officially began.

Students from across the district gathered for the first day of the six-week program, which allows high school students to earn college credit while experiencing college life firsthand.

The Dual Enrollment Summer Academy provides students with an opportunity to get a head start on their college education at no cost to them or their families. Throughout the summer, participants will attend classes on Chipola's campus, connect with faculty and staff, and build relationships with fellow students while working toward their academic goals.

College officials encouraged students to make the most of the experience by working hard, asking questions, making new friends and embracing the opportunities ahead.
