2023 Homecoming Court Candidates Posing For Picture

MARIANNA—Chipola College celebrated Homecoming Saturday, Feb. 11 with the theme, “Celebrating 75 Years of Chipola College.”

The Indians hosted Northwest Florida on Saturday for the Homecoming game. Chipola President Dr. Sarah Clemmons hosted all alumni and friends to attend an Alumni Reception in the Ronnie Myers Hospitality Room of the Milton Johnson Center.

The women fell 67-61 to #3 Northwest Florida. Ashley Baez had 19 points to lead Chipola. Ivi Nikolova added 18. In Men’s action, our Indians took down Northwest Florida to move into sole possession of first place in the Panhandle Conference! Final score was 83 Chipola, 79 Northwest. Deyton Albury led all scorers with 24 points. Cliff Davis had 16 points followed by Paul Greene with 12.

The student body selected members of the 2023 Homecoming Court. Chipola’s 2023 Homecoming Queen and Mr. Chipola were crowned at halftime of the men’s game. Ameliya Bowers was crowned YOUR 2023 Homecoming Queen and a very excited Anthony Terry III was named Mr. Chipola.
