Practical Nursing (PN) students from Chipola College recently completed part of their clinical rotation at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working with residents and healthcare staff.

Clinical rotations are an essential component of nursing education, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while developing patient care skills, confidence, and professional communication. During their visit, students also had the opportunity to participate in the facility’s Mardi Gras celebration, sharing a fun and memorable moment with residents and staff.

“Experiences like this are invaluable for our students as they transition from the classroom to patient care,” said Stefanie Barnes, Director of Health Sciences at Chipola College.
