Chipola Theatre Announces Cast for Our Town

Chipola College Theatre has announced the cast for its upcoming production of Thornton Wilder’s classic American play, Our Town, which will take the stage Oct. 2-4 at the Chipola Center for the Arts.
Set in the fictional small town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, Our Town follows the everyday lives of the Webb and Gibbs families and explores themes of family, love, marriage, community and the passage of time.
The cast includes Quinton Chavers as Stage Manager; Charlize Reyes as Mrs. Gibbs; Samuel Keel as Dr. Gibbs; Caroline Sims as Mrs. Webb; Owen Basford as Mr. Webb; Randi Boyd as Emily; Johnathan Waldrop as George; Jaelyn Pitts as Mrs. Soames; Alex Hamm as Howie Newsom; Anslee Kondracki as Rebecca; Sawyer Kleiser as Joe Crowell Jr. and Si Crowell; Jaden McGehee as Woman in Balcony; Milian Richardson as Professor Willard; Caden Kearns as Constable Warren; Weston Basford as Simon Stimson; Savion Loftin as Sam Craig and a baseball player; Bradley Music as Joe Stoddard; Nolin Cherry as Wally and a baseball player; Thadius Myrick as Farmer McCarty; Ella Cherry as Lady in Box; and Hope Humphries as Man/Woman in Auditorium.
Also appearing in the production are Bailee Steverson, Faith Elliott and Whitney Cherry as Women Among the Dead, and Anna Cherry and Sophie Basford as Men/Women Among the Dead. Sawyer Kleiser and Nolin Cherry will also appear as baseball players.
Described as “the greatest American play ever written,” Our Town presents the small town of Grover’s Corners in three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage” and “Death and Eternity.” The play depicts the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die.
