Chipola Theatre to Hold Auditions for ‘Our Town’

Chipola College Theatre will hold open auditions for its fall production of Thornton Wilder’s classic play, Our Town, on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Chipola Center for the Arts.

Theatre participants of all experience levels are invited to audition for the production, which will be presented Oct. 2-4.

Set in the fictional small town of Grover’s Corners, Our Town follows the lives of the Webb and Gibbs families through three acts — “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage” and “Death and Eternity” — exploring everyday life, relationships and the passage of time.

ACT Fund members may begin redeeming tickets Aug. 26. General admission tickets will go on sale Sept. 1 and may be purchased at the Center for the Arts Box Office or online at chipola.edu/boxoffice.
