Chipola College General Studies Department will host its 9th Annual Mental Health Symposium on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Chipola Cultural Center.

The event will feature student presentations, participation from local agencies, and a guest speaker, providing information and resources related to mental health awareness and support. The symposium is free and open to the public, and appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

“The Mental Health Symposium is a place where students and community partners come together to share knowledge, spark conversations, and work toward a world with less stigma around mental health. We are truly grateful for the passion and commitment of our community partners and psychology students — and we warmly welcome everyone in the public to come and be part of this meaningful event.” said Linda Morales.

The event is sponsored by Chipola College’s General Studies Department, the Jackson County Health Department, and the Chipola College Black Student Union.
