CHIPOLA TO HOST FALL BASEBALL CLASSIC SEPT. 17-19

Chipola College will host the Chipola Fall Baseball Classic Sept. 17-19 at Jeff Johnson Field in Marianna.

The three-day event will feature teams from across the region, including Chipola, Tallahassee State College, Northwest Florida State, Coastal Alabama South, Gulf Coast, Pensacola, Pearl River, St. John’s River and Wallace Dothan.

Thursday’s games begin with Chipola taking on Tallahassee State College at 10 a.m., followed by Northwest Florida State against Coastal Alabama South at 2 p.m. On Friday, Gulf Coast will face Pensacola at 10 a.m., followed by Pearl River and St. John’s River at 2 p.m.

Saturday’s games feature St. John’s River against Wallace Dothan at 10 a.m., followed by Chipola against Wallace Dothan at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday and Friday games will be 12 innings, while Saturday games will be seven innings. All times are CST.
