Chipola’s Black History Month Celebration Set for Feb. 27

Chipola College will host its Annual Black History Month Celebration on Friday, February 27, at 6:00 p.m. in the Chipola College Cultural Center.
Sponsored by the Chipola College Social and Behavioral Sciences Department, the Black Student Union, and the Jackson County Health Department, this year’s celebration carries the theme “Leading through Resistance.” The program will feature guest speaker Elder William McCray, with Dr. Patrice Shuford serving as co-speaker.
Dinner and refreshments will be provided, and the community is welcome to attend.
