Florida College System Foundation Awards Chipola College Foundation Over $19,000 in Scholarships for 2025-26
When Commissioner of Education Anastasios Kamoutsas visited Chipola College a few weeks back, he presented the college with a check from the Florida College System Foundation in support of scholarships that will benefit local students.
The Florida College System Foundation Board of Directors proudly awarded the Chipola College Foundation the 2025-26 academic scholarships. These statewide scholarships are aimed at relieving the nursing shortage and helping students who are the first in their family to attend college.
Chipola College Foundation will receive a total of $19,264 in 2025-26 scholarship funds, including:
- $13,640 from the Florida Blue Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship, which requires a local match partner.
- $1,785 from the Helios Education Foundation for First Generation students.
- $3,839 from Bank of America for First Generation scholarships.
“Support from the Florida College System Foundation helps us remove financial barriers for deserving students,” said Julie Fuqua, Chipola’s Foundation Director. “We are grateful to Commissioner Kamoutsas and the Foundation for their continued partnership in helping our students reach their educational goals.”
