Chipola was eliminated from the FCSAA State Tournament on Sunday, May 8 after falling to Pensacola, 6-0.

In the top of the first inning, Chipola's Jadyn Burney tripled with one out but a pair of ground ball outs kept the Lady Indians off the board. The Lady Indians would not get a runner past first base the rest of the day as the Pensacola pitcher only allowed two other hits, singles by Janelle Martinez. The Pirates scored two runs in the second inning and four more in the fifth.

With the Lady Indians unable to put any runs on the board, Charity Bibbs took the loss in the circle after giving up five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk while striking out four. Riley Reese threw two innings in relief and allowed one run, allowed four hits, and struck out three.

Coach Kelly Brookins' first season as Head Coach comes to an end with a 40-11 record, the team's most wins since the 2019 National Championship season.
