Pop Tab Pandemonium 2022

Chipola College TRiO Society club recently conducted a “Pop Tab Pandemonium” initiative benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida in Pensacola, Florida. Across campus and by ranking of most tabs raised, 1st Place - Tina Stephens - Chipola College Cafeteria, 2nd Place - Mary Allen - Physical Plant, and 3rd Place - Jamiracle Pearson – TRiO Society. Special thanks to Kim Collins - Student Affairs (VP Office), Shelley Blanchette - Admission & Records, Anita Price – Fine Arts, Jim Dunaway & Candy Corbin – Physical Plant for their donations. Prizes for all of those who participated were presented at Chipola’s Spring Frolics. Prizes were provided by Chipola College Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Chipola Student Government Association and TRiO Society. 

TRiO Society would like to extend a warm and huge thank you for those individuals and for those affiliates who participated in the spring initiative to make it a successful fundraiser event. The Pop Tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida by TRiO Society sponsors Kristie Mosley, and Sarieta Bryant. The Pop Tabs raised will be recycled, generating much-needed funds to support the Ronald McDonald House and the nearly 1,100 families the House serves each year. Little things make a huge difference, and as a Chipola Nation, together we proudly made an impact!
