Register Now for Fall Term ‘C’

Registration for Fall Term ‘C’ classes at Chipola College is open to new and current students. Classes meet Oct. 18 through Dec. 14.

Currently enrolled students may add Term C classes to their schedule. New students are encouraged to make application to the college and register as soon as possible. Face-to-face and online classes are offered in several areas.

Term C courses include twelve general education courses in the Associate in Arts Degree: Face-to-Face—(HSC2400) Standard First Aid; (REL2300) World Religions; (CJL1500) The Court System; (TPA2212) Introduction to Stage Audio; Online—(MAC2233) Calculus for Non-Science Majors; (MUL2010) Music Appreciation; (SLS1101) Orientation; (SLS1401) Career and Life Planning; (THE1000) Theatre Appreciation; (CGS1060) Introduction to Microcomputer Use; (SYG1010) Contemporary Sociology; (GEA2001) World Geography I; (DEP2004) Human Growth and Development.

One bachelor’s degree course is available in Business and Technology: Online—(GEB4930) Selected Topic in Business.

Five upper level Education courses include: Face-to-Face—(RED4519) Diagnostic and Instructional Interventions in Reading; (RED3311) Teaching Reading in the Intermediate Grades; Online—(RED3360) Teaching Reading Middle/Secondary Schools; (RED4519) Diagnostic and Instructional Interventions in Reading; (TSL4081) TESOL issues and Practices.

Six Workforce Education Courses include: Face-to-Face—(AER0257V) Automatic Transmission and Transaxle Technician; (BCV0400V) Building Construction Helper; (PMT0750V) Fundamentals of Metallurgy Lab; (PMT0143V) Flux Cored Arc Welding; (PMT0101V) Welding Symbols & Blueprints; Online—(ETD2340) Auto Cad Level II (Zoom).

Chipola's open-door policy guarantees acceptance to any student with a standard high school diploma or its equivalent.  Prospective students should complete a college application online at www.chipola.edu. Students also must provide an official high school and college transcript. Students should visit an academic advisor in the Student Services building to register.
