Senior Day

Published:

For more than 30 years, Chipola College has welcomed and hosted the graduating seniors from our five-county district high schools.  Sponsored by the Chipola College Student Ambassadors, Senior Day is an annual Fall event where area high school seniors tour the college’s programs, interact with instructors, take in a Show Choir performance, and enjoy fellowship and lunch with peers from other campuses.   In an effort to showcase the many educational opportunities and programs and to allow more time for seniors to ask questions, Senior Day was divided into two days this year, November 1 & 2, 2023.   Led by the Student Ambassadors and other staff, seniors toured all workforce development programs, the Social Science Department, the Health Science Department, the Business and Technology Department, the Academic Center for Learning, the new Cyber Range, and the Literature/Language Department.  Deans and faculty shared valuable information about the college’s courses and programs of study.

Chipola College administration was also excited to award two scholarships, chosen randomly, to two high school seniors: Jordan Lee from Liberty County High School and Ella Sprouse from Sneads High School.  Congratulations to these students!

The college welcomes and encourages all prospective students to call for more information or to schedule a campus tour.  850-526-2761
