Course Description:
This course is designed to cover special topics in mathematics not obtainable in the regular course offerings. Prerequisites: MAC 2313 and instructor’s approval. 1 - 3 semester hours credit. May be repeated for credit. Maximum of 12 semester hours credit.

Students will be able to research special mathematics topics, make conjectures, and arrive to conclusions under the instructor’s supervision.

Conduct a presentation on the results obtained from the research topic.

Means of accomplishing learning outcomes:

The student will meet with the instructor weekly to report progress on the research.  The instructor will be available during office hours for individual assistance.
