Chipola Affirms Commitment to Academic Excellence and Student Success

Chipola College is proud to stand alongside Florida’s 27 other state colleges and 12 state universities in affirming a shared commitment to academic and operational excellence.

The statewide commitment emphasizes rigorous academic standards, free expression and open inquiry, keeping higher education affordable, and preparing students for meaningful careers, citizenship and lives of service.

The joint response includes all 28 Florida College System presidents and 12 State University System presidents.

At Chipola, the commitment also aligns with the college’s 2026-27 annual campaign, “Freedom to Become,” which focuses on the opportunities education provides students to discover their path, pursue their goals and prepare for the future.

Together, Florida’s colleges and universities are helping students build brighter futures and giving them the Freedom to Become.
