Chipola Baseball Ranked No. 1; Moye Named NJCAA Player of the Year

The Chipola College Indians Baseball team continues to earn national recognition, holding the No. 1 ranking in the NJCAA Division I national poll while also celebrating a major individual honor for freshman Kane Moye.
Moye, a first baseman from Stockbridge, Georgia, has been named NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Year, recognizing his strong performance and contributions to the nationally ranked Indians this season.
“We’re proud of Kane and the work our team has put in to reach this point in the season,” said Chipola head baseball coach Jeff Johnson.
Chipola also recently welcomed the Marianna K-8 Bullpups baseball team to the ballpark, giving local students the opportunity to watch the Indians compete and spend time at Jeff Johnson Field.
The Indians will return to action at home on Monday, March 16, hosting Pensacola State College at 5 p.m., followed by a Saturday, March 21 matchup against Gulf Coast State College at 1 p.m.
